I’m Deise (“Daisy”), a Black Brazilian designer and children's book illustrator currently based in Portugal.

Over the years, I've also applied my illustration and lettering skills across a range of editorial and advertising projects, including posters, book covers, board games, and character design. Each opportunity has allowed me to bring engaging stories to life!

​

I enjoy creating playful characters and exploring textures and geometric shapes in my artwork. I am particularly passionate about projects with meaningful purposes, especially those that promote female empowerment, inclusive storytelling, and diversity. When I'm not drawing, you’ll often find me traveling or playing board games.
